The Association is Government Organization that is responsible for treating the entirety of wastewater from Haifa and the surrounding area. The Sewage Plant serves over 700,000 residents in 11 cities and local councils. They recycle and reuse water that yields an annual savings of about 38 million m³ of water each year in Israel’s water economy. After the wastewater is treated, the effluents are sent to the Jezreel Valley where it is used to irrigate field crops.
In the redesign of the WWTP Haifa website we took a more conservative and functional approach in terms of the website design and structure. The website provides information about the association history, current activity, news, tenders and general information about the waste water management.
