Council for the
Preservation of Sites

The Council is a Non-Governmental Organization established to defend the conservation and commemoration of historical sites. Founded in 1984 through the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI), the Council aims to protect otherwise vulnerable historic buildings and sites. The organization preserved the Herzilya Gymnasium as a symbol of their work and became independent in 2008 under the title of “The Council for the Conservation of Heritage Sites in Israel”.

The Council for the Preservation of Sites website is a huge knowledgebase for preservation in Israel. In the UX strategy and design stage, we divided this enormous data into 4 main categories; the council, the preservation, the sites and an opportunity for people to get involved. That way we made it easier for users to navigate through the website. On top of that, we designed a one-of-a-kind user interface that represents the council unique personality.
